Although it shares a name with Chevy’s main workhorse, the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV is a different beast altogether, not just because of its powertrain. It’s a massively capable truck, has up to 440 miles of range, is packed with tech, and, when properly equipped, can even drive itself on over 750,000 miles of mapped roads and highways. Fans of the old Chevy Avalanche pickup would love the Silverado EV’s Multi-Flex Midgate, which also folds down with the rear seats and allows the truck to accommodate cargo up to 10 feet long from the tailgate; that’s not bad for a short-bed crew cab. This month’s deal includes a 0% for up to 72 months offer for everyone and up to $7,500 in federal tax credits, but the amount of tax credit received is subject to limitations on buyer income and eligibility. These PHEV credits may not last much longer, so if you’re interested, take advantage of them while you can.
