Agreed. My 2004 KIA Optima (KIA/Hyundai are like Chevy/GMC in relation to each other) was my best car. Now I drive a Kona. Great cars from S. Korea, not China.
I’ve been shopping hard to replace our 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Most of the “hot” SUVs struggle to get their towing number up with a 4 cylinder turbo and the HONDA seems to have a fair mount of issues with their variable cylinder management system, (read just another system to worry about.) All in all, we end up back at the Grand Cherokee for a balance of toughness, luxury and affordability. Reading about the “new” Toyota 4runner in the mid 60’s…are you kidding me?
