The price of the 2024 Toyota RAV4 LE starts at $30,025, including a $1,350 destination charge. It comes standard with a 203-horsepower 4-cylinder engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission. You don’t have to worry about safety, as the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 suite of features is standard on every trim level. It includes lane-departure warning with steering assist, pre-collision with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, and more.
Exterior styling includes black power side mirrors, 17-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, and LED daytime running lights, taillights, and projector headlights. The RAV4 LE also comes standard with a power liftgate. Inside, the fabric seats are 6-way adjustable for the driver and 4-way adjustable for the passenger. It has remote keyless entry, but the engine starts with a key. It has dual-zone climate control, a dust and pollen filter, and the rear-seat passengers get additional vents.
You can control navigation and more from an 8-inch touchscreen. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are wireless. Audio plays through a 6-speaker system.
Toyota RAV4 XLE vs. Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium
The RAV4 XLE is the next step up in the RAV4 line, and one step higher than that trim is the RAV4 XLE Premium. Here is what you get in each of those trim levels.
Styling:
The XLE rides on 17-inch 5-spoke gray alloy wheels. The RAV4’s door handles and side mirrors are color-matched, and the side mirrors are heated. The mirrors also include turn-signal indicators and blind-spot monitors with rear cross-traffic alert. A power tilt-and-slide moonroof is part of a $1,265 package.
The XLE Premium has multispoke 19-inch alloy wheels. It also has integrated fog lights. A power tilt-and-slide moonroof is standard.
Interior:
The RAV4 XLE has cloth seats with a polygon-type design. The driver’s seat is 8-way power-adjustable and includes lumbar support. The front passenger seat is 4-way manually adjustable. Heated front seats are part of a $925 option package that includes a heated steering wheel.
The XLE Premium has SofTex synthetic leather seats, 8-way power with lumbar for the driver, and 4-way manual for the front passenger. The heated seats are part of a $1,075 package that includes a heated steering wheel and memory seats.
Climate Control:
The RAV4 XLE has dual-zone climate control, a dust and pollen filter, and vents for rear-seat passengers.
The RAV4 XLE Premium adds front-center vent flow controls to the XLE’s climate control system.
In-Car Entertainment:
The RAV4 XLE employs an 8-inch touchscreen, 6-speaker audio, and wireless smartphone connectivity.
The RAV4 XLE Premium starts with the same system as the XLE but is the most affordable trim level where you have infotainment options. A 10.5-inch touchscreen is part of a $2,485 option package. An 11-speaker JBL Audio system includes an amp and subwoofer and is part of that same option package. Other packages include options for a digital rearview mirror and other bundled features.
Security:
The RAV4 XLE uses Toyota’s Smart Key system on the front doors and the tailgate. It has a push-button start, remote keyless entry with lock/unlock/panic, and remote lighted entry. A power liftgate and moonroof are part of a $1,265 package.
The XLE Premium adds a power liftgate to the XLE’s Smart Key system, and the moonroof also comes standard.
