At this trim level, you get power windows, power locks, power mirrors, remote keyless entry with push-button start, 17-inch alloy wheels, cloth seating, a leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescopic steering column, manual air conditioning, a 6-way manual driver’s seat, an electronic parking brake, a 40/20/40 split-folding rear seat, a 7-inch color touchscreen with 4-speaker audio, Mazda Connect with voice activation, and variable wipers.
You also get cruise control, LED headlights, Smart City Brake Support, G-Vectoring Control, a rear backup camera, Bluetooth hands-free cell phone connectivity, and two front USB ports. Smart City Brake Support is a system that helps you avoid collisions in traffic moving under 18 miles per hour. G-Vectoring Control uses changes in engine output to shift the weight of the vehicle to the front tires when the driver turns the steering wheel and adds just a little braking to the outside front wheel. This feature improves steering response when driving.
Standard safety features include blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. Optional on the Sport is the i-ACTIVSENSE package, including auto high-beam control, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and Smart Brake Support emergency braking.
