There are only a handful of full-size luxury sedans globally, each with its own distinct claim to fame. In the 2022 BMW 7 Series, that claim is merging dynamic performance and handling with opulent interiors and cutting-edge technology.
Along with the 6-, 8- and even 12-cylinder gas models, the 7 Series also offers a hybrid that pairs a 6-cylinder engine and an electric motor. All 7 Series cars are well equipped and provide numerous options, allowing buyers to custom tailor their vehicle.
Price-wise, the 7 Series matches the Audi A8, undercuts the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and costs a bit more than the Lexus LS. There are also upstart challengers like the Genesis G90 that rival the 7 Series well on paper, but in actuality, still lack some of the German automaker’s sophistication and detail work.
