There’s an all-new, all-electric Chevy for the 2022 model year: It’s the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV. As you might’ve guessed from its name, it has a lot in common with the Chevy Bolt EV hatchback.
The difference is that the Bolt EUV is a compact crossover with a little more ride height and interior space. Mechanically, it’s the same as the Bolt EV, making it a practical electric car with lively acceleration and a useable range.
Two trim levels are available for the Bolt EUV. The more value-conscious choice is the base LT trim. But, if you have some extra room in your budget, the more upscale Premier model is a worthwhile upgrade.
Let’s take a closer look at the two trims and their available option packages to see which 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV is right for you.
2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV LT (Starting at $33,000)
The base LT trim of the Chevrolet Bolt EUV is a great value in small electric SUVs. For starters, it has an impressive electric range of up to 247 miles on a full charge. That range is very similar to the Hyundai Kona Electric and the base Volkswagen ID.4. The electric drivetrain produces 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, and it’s fun to drive in Sport mode.
A standard accessory with every Chevy Bolt EUV is a dual-level charge cord. It has a changeable plug allowing for Level-1 charging in a regular household outlet or faster Level-2 charging from a charging station in public or your garage.
Some cool tech features on the LT trim include a driver information center with an 8-inch color screen, wireless charging pad, Regen on Demand steering wheel paddle allowing for manual regenerative braking, remote start, and 10.2-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
You also get nice exterior and interior features like 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, LED headlights and taillights, automatic climate control, and 60/40 split-folding back seats. Standard safety tech features include an HD backup camera, rear seat reminder, and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning.
Three option packages are available for the Bolt EUV. The Driver Confidence Package ($495) adds rear parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-change alert with blind-spot monitoring. The Comfort Package ($895) is good for cold climates and adds an 8-way power driver’s seat, heated front seats, and an automatic heated steering wheel.
A Convenience Package ($1,695) is available, but upgrading to the Premier trim is arguably a better value. It adds leather seating, ventilated front seats, auto-dimming mirror, rear center armrest with two cup holders, and 17-inch Dark Android alloy wheels.

2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV LT Includes:
- 247-mile range – This range makes the Bolt EUV practical and useable for a wide range of drivers.

2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Premier (Starting at $37,500)
The Premier trim of the Chevy Bolt EUV makes it a more premium crossover. It includes all of the contents of the three option packages for the LT, including leather seats, nicer wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, and more safety tech.
The Premier trim also adds chrome exterior trim on the sides and a painted panel on the front end, giving it a premium look.
Other features standard on the Premier model that you can’t get on the LT trim include a rear camera mirror, heated rear seats, ambient door lighting, and HD Surround Vision.
Two interior options are offered in the Premier model, neither of which adds to the price. One choice is the Jet Black/Nightshift Blue color scheme, which is optional in the LT model. The other option is Dark Ash Gray/Sky Cool Gray, exclusive to the Premier trim.
Two excellent option packages are available to the Premier trim. The Super Cruise Package ($2,200) makes the Bolt EUV the first Chevrolet model available with GM’s fantastic semi-autonomous driving system. It allows for hands-free driving if you’re on a road mapped by Super Cruise. Don’t get too comfy; you still need to keep your eyes on the road.
The other available option package for the Bolt EUV is the Sun and Sound Package ($2,495). It adds navigation, Bose 7-speaker premium audio, and a dual-pane sunroof.
