The 2022 Chrysler Voyager is a low-priced minivan intended only for fleet sales to businesses and rental car companies. That’s a shame because the Voyager wears the face of the old Chrysler Pacifica, a design we think looks far better than the new Pacifica’s front end and features a simplified yet still feature-rich interior.
There is no hybrid or all-wheel-drive model, just a simple minivan with a powerful V6 engine, a nice mix of safety and driver-assist systems, plus seating for up to seven people, all for less than $30,000.

The 2022 Chrysler Voyager LX starts at $32,115.
With only one trim, fleet buyers won’t have much to worry about when it comes to pricing and features. The Voyager LX comes nicely equipped with only two option packages for those who want more driver-assist and connectivity features.
Powering the 2022 Chrysler Voyager LX is a 287-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Voyager is pulled by its front wheels, with no option for an all-wheel-drive upgrade. A 19-gallon fuel tank ensures plenty of cruising range, especially on highway trips where the Voyager earns an estimated 28-mpg.
The Voyager LX rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, features standard power-sliding side doors and rear privacy glass. The door handles are color-keyed to the body, as are the power heated pedestal-style side mirrors. Automatic on/off headlights and variable intermittent wipers are standard, and so is a power rear liftgate making it easier to load and unload cargo, gear, and wet dogs.
Entry is made easy with a proximity key fob that alerts the Voyager to your presence, allowing the doors to unlock by touching the handle and the car to be started by pushing a button. The Voyager can also start remotely, a nice feature when it’s cold or raining outside.
Climbing inside the Voyager LX, you’ll find a comfy cabin with room for up to seven people. The front seats are heated, with the driver getting an 8-way power-adjustable seat and 4-way power lumbar support. The second row features bucket-style Stow-‘n-Go seats that fold and store into bins built into the floor. With the seats in place, the bins serve as extra storage space. The Voyager’s third-row seat is a 3-person bench that folds into the floor when not needed.
The driver enjoys a heated tilt/telescoping steering wheel with touch controls for audio, Bluetooth, and cruise control. The Voyager’s instrument cluster is backlit in blue and white light, with a speedometer, tachometer, a fuel gauge, and a center 3.5-inch LCD information display.
Occupants are kept comfortable thanks to a 3-zone manual climate control system complete with a cabin air filter. Both rear sliding doors include power windows, and the driver gets a one-touch up/down power window. LED interior lighting abounds, including ambient overhead lighting, a cargo area light, and a lighted visor vanity mirror.
The Voyager’s 6-speaker audio system gets paired with Chrysler’s Uconnect5 infotainment that includes a 7-inch touch-screen display, SiriusXM satellite radio, auxiliary and USB inputs, and an AM/FM tuner. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, as does Amazon Alexa voice. Over-the-air updates and the ability to pair two smartphones simultaneously make this one impressive entry-level infotainment setup.
Standard safety and driver-assists include front, front side-impact, and front knee airbags, plus a full-length side-curtain airbag covering all three rows. Standard fare includes electronic traction and stability control, a rear backup camera, a tire-pressure monitoring system, and an electronic parking brake with Safe Hold. Safe Hold will automatically engage the parking brake if the vehicle is left in gear and the driver’s door opens or if the car is placed in neutral and begins to roll. It can be disengaged temporarily, something you’ll want to do when sending the Voyager through an automated car wash, for example.
There are two option packages for the Voyager. The Fleet Security Group adds two additional key fobs, a global telematics box, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and SiriusXM Guardian, an added feature that provides services like vehicle reports and access to further Uconnect services.
The second package is one we highly recommend. The Safetytec Package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, full-speed forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, and rear parking sensors with automatic emergency braking that will stop the vehicle if you get too close to a stationary object.
Also included in the package: a 10.1-inch touch screen, 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, Sirius XM 360L and Guardian, satellite navigation, and HD radio.
With the $1,495 destination fee, the 2022 Chrysler Voyager LX costs $33,610. On a 60-month loan at 3% financing and zero down payment, the monthly payment comes to $604. See 2022 Chrysler Voyager LX models for sale
2022 Chrysler Voyager LX includes:
- Heated seats and steering wheel – both unexpected features in a fleet vehicle and welcome additions when it gets frigid outside.

- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – allows full integration into the Voyager’s infotainment system from any position in the cabin without the need for wires or a USB plug.
- Power liftgate – automatically opens and closes the rear liftgate, making it easy to access the Voyager’s cargo bay with just a push of a button.
