The 2022 Volkswagen Arteon is a good choice for those seeking a roomy, European sedan with Audi-like quality and comfort levels. Priced slightly higher than the entry-level Nissan Maxima and Kia Stinger, the Arteon nevertheless is a good value prospect for luxury buyers trying to keep spending in check.

For 2022, the R-Line treatment is now standard across the model range, as is a new 300-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged engine teamed with a new 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).
