The Chevrolet Bolt EUV is an excellent value in small electric SUVs. It has a useful range of up to 247 miles, and its price cut this year makes it more attainable. Chevy slashed the prices of both trims of the Bolt EUV by a significant $6,300.
On top of the price cut, a new Redline Edition appearance package is also available for the Bolt EUV. It adds a sportier look to this SUV but, unfortunately, has no performance upgrades.
The Bolt is a unique player in electric SUVs with few direct competitors. Its closest rival is the Kia Niro EV, which is all-new for 2023, with pricing not yet announced as of this writing. You might also consider the Nissan Leaf and Chevrolet Bolt EV hatchback if you’re shopping on the more affordable side of electric cars.
Let’s take a closer look at the two trims of the Chevy Bolt EUV and find the right one for you.
2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV LT
(starting at $28,195)
The base LT trim of the Chevy Bolt EUV is well-equipped for an EV that starts at less than $30,000. For starters, the standard powertrain is a single electric motor powering the front wheels. It produces 200 horsepower and achieves up to 247 miles of range on a full charge.
Standard features include a Regen-on-Demand steering wheel paddle, automatic climate control, remote start, a wireless charging pad, Sport Mode, Teen Driver mode, LED headlights and taillights, DC fast-charging capability, a dual-level charging cord, and cloth seats.
The standard infotainment system is a 10.2-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also has SiriusXM and an HD backup camera.
The Chevy Safety Assist safety tech suite comes standard on every Bolt EUV. It bundles automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist with lane-departure warning, a following-distance indicator, and IntelliBeam automatic high-beam headlights.
After the $995 destination charge, financing a Bolt EUV with a 60-month loan at 3% interest (and no money down) would result in a starting monthly payment of about $525. See 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV LT models for sale
2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV LT includes:
Everyday range: At 247 miles, this is more than enough to cover most drivers’ daily needs.
Chevy Safety Assist: This safety tech suite includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, and more.
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay: This convenient feature connects your phone to the screen in your car without fussy cords.
2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Premier
(starting at $32,695)
The Premier trim uses the same powertrain and has the same range as the LT model but adds many desirable features. This is the more premium choice in the Bolt EUV lineup.
Standard features include leather seats, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a surround-vision camera, rear parking sensors, and a rear camera mirror.
Super Cruise is a desirable option available exclusively for the Premier trim. Super Cruise is a semi-autonomous driving system allowing for hands-free driving on more than 200,000 miles of pre-mapped highways in the United States. You still need to keep your eyes on the road. Nevertheless, this is one of the most advanced driving assistance systems on the market.
Adding in the $995 destination charge, a 60-month loan at 3% interest, and with no money down, the Chevrolet Bolt EUV would have a monthly payment of approximately $605 before adding any options. See 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Premier models for sale
2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Premier includes:
Available Super Cruise: This optional semi-autonomous driving system lets you take your hands off the steering wheel on approved highways.
Leather seats: This adds a luxurious touch to this electric SUV.
Adaptive cruise control: This feature automatically keeps a safe distance to the car in front of you while cruise control is on. It makes highway driving a little safer and more relaxed.
