The Fisker brand is back with a new electric SUV. The Fisker Ocean is an all-new entry in the compact luxury SUV segment for 2023. The upper trims of the Ocean can be considered luxury SUVs competitive with the Tesla Model Y and Audi e-tron, but the base Sport trim is in the price range of the Volkswagen ID.4 and Toyota bZ4x.
Fisker calls the Ocean the most sustainable SUV on Earth. It uses eco-friendly materials like recycled carpeting and recycled polymers throughout the interior. It also has an efficient electric powertrain capable of achieving up to 350 miles of range on a full charge (when equipped with the Hyper Range battery).
There are four distinct trims of the Ocean covering a wide price range. As such, there’s a Fisker Ocean for just about everyone in the market for a small electric SUV. Let’s take a closer look at the 2023 Fisker Ocean trim levels and find the right one for you.
2023 Fisker Ocean Sport: $37,499
The Fisker Ocean Sport is a premium electric SUV with an attainable price tag. This model is the only Ocean using what Fisker calls the “Touring Range” battery. With a single 275-horsepower electric motor powering the front wheels, the Ocean Sport boasts a range of up to 250 miles.
Standard features in the Fisker Ocean Sport include 20-inch wheels, LED headlights and taillights, a BigSky glass roof, a power liftgate, a digital rearview mirror, unique Sport interior trim, power front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a 17.1-inch central touchscreen with Amazon Alexa. You also get an 8-speaker premium sound system and can use a mobile app as a key.
Every Ocean comes with the FI-Pilot suite of driver assistance tech features. In addition to automatic emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring, it features lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition, intelligent speed assist, driver drowsiness and attention warning, parking assist, and automatic high beams.
A Winter Package adds some nice perks for drivers in cold climates: heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, remote climate control, heated washer nozzles, and wiper defrost. It also has a pre-conditioning feature that warms the battery pack, interior, and wipers.

2023 Fisker Ocean Sport includes:

2023 Fisker Ocean Ultra: $49,999
The Ultra trim has a significant price increase over the base trim because of its dual-motor powertrain and bigger battery pack. The 540-hp dual-motor setup adds all-wheel drive, and the Hyper Range battery can deliver up to 340 miles of range. It also adds a Hyper high-performance drive mode and a Boost Mode that maximizes the Ocean’s acceleration.
In addition to the upgrades in range and performance, the Ultra trim adds more luxury and tech features. It has a sliding OpenSky panoramic glass roof, unique Ultra interior trim, a 12-speaker audio system, and California Mode. With California Mode, you can open the front and rear windows, the rear “Doggie windows,” and the back glass. This arrangement creates an open-air experience and makes transporting long items like surfboards easy.
Like the Sport trim, the Winter Package is optional on the Ultra. An optional Sport Traction feature provides optimal torque distribution to all four wheels for better performance and efficiency.

2023 Fisker Ocean Extreme: $68,999
The dual-motor Extreme trim has the best performance and range in the Ocean lineup, plus the most features. This electric SUV, with all-wheel drive, 550 hp, and a 350-mile range, hits 60 mph in 3.6 seconds.
The Fisker Ocean Extreme comes standard with the Smart Traction and Winter Package features that are optional on the Ultra model. It also adds a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, lane-change assist, and Limo Mode, which adds rear-seat climate and entertainment controls. A SolarSky roof with solar panels also is standard, along with a 16-speaker audio system and a Revolve touchscreen that can rotate between landscape and portrait modes.

2023 Fisker Ocean Extreme includes:

2023 Fisker Ocean One: $68,999
The Fisker Ocean One is a special edition limited to 5,000 units. As of this writing, reservations are already full for the Ocean One.
It celebrates the re-launch of the Fisker brand with a unique appearance inside and out. You get a choice of three different 22-inch wheel designs, a “MaliBlu” blue-on-black interior, a digital signature and number sequence on the control screen, and an “Ocean One” badge on the steering wheel.
Other than those aesthetic touches, the equipment of the Ocean One is identical to that of the Ocean Extreme.
