The 2023 Genesis GV70 has the looks, the moves, and the features to take on small luxury SUVs like the BMW X3, Audi Q5, and Mercedes-Benz GLC. Although the GV70 matches and, in some cases, exceeds the feature set of these European marques, its pricing is more in line with the Acura RDX and Volvo XC60.
The GV70 offers a choice of two turbocharged engines, delineated by the 2.5T or 3.5T badging. Both trims come standard with all-wheel drive (AWD) and offer several option packages. Even the interior color palette exceeds expectations, with names like Pine Grove Green, Havana Brown, Velvet Burgundy, and Sevilla Red.
2023 Genesis GV70 2.5T Standard

The 2023 Genesis GV70 2.5T Standard is the least expensive GV70 you can buy.
It comes standard with 300-horsepower 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, and an advanced AWD system. Drive Mode Select lets the driver customize the driving experience with Comfort, Eco, Sport, Sport+, and Custom settings.
In keeping with the high standards luxury buyers expect, Genesis equips the GV70 with a broad array of safety and driver-assist systems, including a forward-collision warning system that not only detects cars, pedestrians, and bicycles but also approaching vehicles when you’re making a left turn across traffic. Automatic emergency braking can stop the car before an accident can occur, while lane-following and lane-keeping assist help keep the GV70 in its lane.
Other driver aids include a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic detection, adaptive cruise control with stop/go, Speed Limit Assist (controls the vehicle speed based on posted speed limit signs), automatic high-beam headlights, and a driver drowsiness monitor. Also included are rear parking sensors and Safe Exit Assist, which warns exiting passengers of vehicles approaching from behind.
The GV70 includes classy 18-inch alloy wheels, a hands-free power liftgate, LED headlights, heated power side mirrors with turn signal indicators, and rain-sensing wipers. The GV70 also comes prewired for towing and uses a proximity key fob that grants access to the vehicle when the owner touches the door handle. The 3.5T includes all the standard equipment from the 2.5T Standard, then adds Advanced Rear Occupant Alert, the Sport Appearance package, 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, power-folding side mirrors, and leather upholstery.
The 3.5T Sport includes the Ergo Motion massaging driver’s seat with power bolsters and seat cushion extension, passenger seat 4-way power lumbar support, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, memory driver’s seat, and adjustable interior lighting.
The 3.5T’s standard driver-assist systems are the same as those of the GV70 2.5T.
