After years of hype, the Nissan Ariya is finally going into production for the 2023 model year. This is a new entry in practical all-electric SUVs alongside the Volkswagen ID.4, Ford Mustang Mach-E, and Tesla Model Y. It’s stylish, high-tech, and has a maximum range of up to 304 miles.
Currently, the Nissan Ariya is available exclusively via an online ordering site. Most models have an 87-kilowatt battery pack, but the most affordable Engage trim has a 63-kilowatt battery pack.
The Ariya models we’ve covered here are the ones currently available on Nissan’s online ordering site. There are five distinct trims, and you get more luxury and tech as you work your way up the model range. The top trim is a dual-motor Ariya with the e-4ORCE AWD system.

2023 Nissan Ariya Venture+: $47,190
The Venture+ trim of the Ariya has the longest range of the bunch, with an 87-kilowatt battery giving it 304 miles on a full charge. Exterior features include 19-inch wheels with aero covers, LED headlights and taillights, and an illuminated Nissan badge.
The interior of the base trim comes with cloth seats, ambient interior lighting, a drive mode selector, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a long list of tech features. The standard NissanConnect infotainment system has wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay plus navigation, SiriusXM, four USB ports (two USB-A and two USB-C), and a 12.3-inch Advanced Drive-Assist Display.
Standard safety and driver assistance tech features include the ProPilot Assist with Navi-link semi-autonomous driving system, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, automatic high beams, and more.

2023 Nissan Ariya Venture+ includes:

The Engage trim has more features than the Venture+ trim, but it’s more affordable because it has a smaller battery (63 kWh) and less power and range. The Engage model makes 214 horsepower and gets up to 216 miles of range.
Standard features include leatherette seats, heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a memory driver’s seat, a color head-up display, a motorized sliding center console, and a cargo cover.
There’s also a dual-motor Engage e-4ORCE model with AWD and a more powerful Engage+ e-4ORCE model. Other than the powertrain differences, they have the same features as the standard Engage model.

2023 Nissan Ariya Engage includes:

The range-topping Platinum+ model is the height of luxury and technology in a Nissan Ariya. It comes with a significant performance upgrade for starters with 442 lb-ft of torque and the e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive system. The estimated range is up to 265 miles.
On top of the mechanical upgrade, the Platinum+ model comes with active sound control, Nappa leather seating, a hands-free power liftgate, a power steering column with memory, memory front seats, cooled front seats, and a Bose 10-speaker audio system.
