Powering the Rogue is a turbocharged 1.5-liter 3-cylinder engine good for 201 horsepower. It’s paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) that routes power to the front wheels, but all-wheel drive (AWD) is a $1,500 option on all trims.

2023 Nissan Rogue S: $27,760

The Rogue SV is what we consider the value leader, offering a few more creature comforts and customization options at a price most buyers can afford.
Adding to the Rogue S, the SV brings 18-inch alloy wheels, heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals, and Nissan Intelligent Key that allows locking and unlocking the door by touching the handle without the need to remove the key fob from your purse or pocket.
The SV’s blind-spot monitor gets upgraded to include an intervention system that will warn the driver of a vehicle in its blind spot and apply slight brake pressure to help return the Rogue to its lane, thus avoiding a potential collision.
The SV includes Nissan’s ProPilot Assist suite, which adds adaptive cruise control. This system maintains a set distance between the Rogue and the vehicle directly ahead. The adaptive cruise can slow and even stop the Rogue when traffic does the same.
A lane-centering feature keeps the Rogue centered between lane markers, minimizing the amount of driver input needed to keep the vehicle on course.
The Rogue SV’s infotainment system sees a few modest upgrades, including two additional speakers, NissanConnect apps and services, and an available Wi-Fi hot spot.

SL buyers enjoy leather-appointed seats, a heated steering wheel, a memory driver seat and outside mirrors, a 4-way power front passenger seat, and the Divide-N-Hide cargo management system.
