As popular as SUVs have become, there’s still no better mode of family transportation than the minivan, and the 2023 Toyota Sienna is one of the best. Its cavernous interior can be configured to haul people, pets, cargo, or any combination thereof.
The Sienna comes in a range of trims, each designed to suit specific family needs. Whether you’re budget-minded, luxury-loving, or an outdoor adventurer, there’s a Sienna trim for you.
The Sienna shines with its standard hybrid powertrain and available all-wheel drive (AWD), allowing greater cruising range than the Honda Odyssey and Kia Carnival and better traction on snow-covered roads. And, while the Chrysler Pacifica does offer a plug-in hybrid and all-wheel drive, its projected resale values are nowhere near those of the Sienna.

2023 Toyota Sienna LE: $36,135
The LE is the least expensive way to get an 8-passenger Sienna minivan. However, a low price doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice comfort and safety, a fact we think makes the LE a rather attractive prospect.
Like all Sienna trims, the LE comes standard with a 245-horsepower hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.5-liter gas engine and an electric motor. Opting for AWD adds a second electric motor at the rear wheels, providing year-round driving confidence with only a 1-mpg reduction in city fuel economy.
The LE comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, which includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights, full-speed adaptive cruise control, and traffic sign recognition.
Along with its 10 airbags, the Sienna LE has hill-start assist (keeps the vehicle from rolling backward when stopped on an incline), a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert with emergency braking, and individual tire pressure monitors.
The LE has LED headlights and taillights, heated power side mirrors, dual power-sliding side doors, rear privacy glass, a rear wiper/washer, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The LE’s remote keyless entry uses a traditional key fob to lock and unlock the doors, enabling push-button start.
A look inside the Sienna LE’s cabin reveals 8-passenger seating covered in durable cloth fabric. The driver enjoys an 8-way power seat, while the second row includes a 3-person split-bench seat with sliding fore/aft outboard seats and a stowable center seat. The 60/40-split folding third-row seat stows in the floor well when not needed.
The LE’s amenities include a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, tri-zone automatic climate control with controls for the front and second-row passengers, 1-touch auto up/down power windows (including the windows in the sliding side doors), and manual second-row sunshades.
There are six USB charge ports throughout the cabin, including two in the rearmost seat. However, there is only one USB-A data port.
The LE’s infotainment system consists of a 9-inch color touchscreen, a 6-speaker AM/FM radio, Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, Android Auto, and SiriusXM satellite radio. Also included is a 1-year trial subscription to Toyota’s Safety Connect, which includes automatic collision notification, stolen vehicle locator, and more.
Buyers can also opt for a Wi-Fi hot spot (subscription required after the 3-month trial ends).
Every Sienna comes with ToyotaCare, which covers all factory-scheduled maintenance for two years or 25,000 miles.
The LE has a few options, mostly bundled into the LE Plus Package. They include a wireless charging pad, a power moonroof, and an 8-speaker radio.
Roof rails and a compact spare tire (replaces tire repair kit) are the only other factory options.
The addition of AWD tacks on another $2,000.
With the $1,335 destination charge, the 2023 Toyota Sienna LE costs $37,470. On a 60-month loan at 5% financing and $0 down, the monthly payment comes to about $707. See 2023 Toyota Sienna LE models for sale near you
2023 Toyota Sienna LE includes:
- Seven USB ports – Six are for charging. One is for data.
- Dual power sliding side doors – The kids can get out of either side of the Sienna with these power doors.
- Safety Sense 2.0 – Includes a host of standard driver assists to help with everything from lane centering to forward and reverse automatic braking.
2023 Toyota Sienna XLE: $41,445
The XLE is the most versatile Sienna, primarily because it offers 7- or 8-passenger seating, but only on the front-drive models. The choice is easy, as Toyota charges the same price for the second-row bench seat as it does for the second-row captain’s chairs.
Building off the LE, the XLE adds integrated wide-angle LED fog lights, hands-free dual power sliding side doors (opens and closes the doors by kicking your foot just below the door), a power liftgate, front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, and a power moonroof.
Toyota’s Smart Key keyless entry comes standard. With the key fob in your purse or pocket, you need only touch any door handle to lock or unlock the van.
The XLE upgrades to 4-zone automatic climate control, SofTex vinyl upholstery, heated front seats, a 4-way power passenger seat, an 8-speaker radio, and trial subscriptions to Remote Connect and Service Connect apps.
Options for the XLE beyond 7-passenger seating and AWD include the XLE Plus Package that adds a wireless charging pad, black roof rails, Dynamic Navigation, and a 12-speaker JBL audio system with a powered subwoofer.
Buyers can add to the Plus Package, with features such as a 1500-watt inverter (120-volt outlet) and a rear-seat entertainment system. A hands-free power liftgate is also available.
With the $1,335 destination charge, the 2023 Toyota Sienna XLE costs $42,780. On a 60-month loan at 5% financing and $0 down, the monthly payment comes to about $807. See 2023 Toyota Sienna XLE models for sale near you
2023 Toyota Sienna XLE includes:
- Heated front seats – Offer multiple levels from warm to toasty hot.
- 7-passenger seating – A great feature to have when the kids don’t like sharing space. Or you don’t need room for eight. The second-row super-long-slide captain’s chairs travel fore and aft, and the distance between them makes it easier to get in and out of the third row.
- 4-zone automatic climate control – This standard helps keep everybody comfortable and happy inside the Sienna XLE.
2023 Toyota Sienna XSE: $43,695
The XSE gives the Sienna a sportier feel, with standard 7-passenger seating and more comfort and convenience features.
Adding to the XLE’s equipment, the XSE features premium LED headlights and taillights, a black mesh grille, a sport-tuned suspension, and 20-inch dark alloy wheels (18-inch with AWD).
The XSE’s interior gets sport-trimmed seats featuring red piping in a choice of black or 2-tone gray SofTex, while Dynamic Navigation gets added to the 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Standard Driver Easy Speak allows the driver to communicate with rear-seat passengers using the vehicle’s speaker system.
The XSE Plus Package mirrors the XLE Plus Package, minus Dynamic Navigation already included as standard.
AWD is only a $760 upgrade.
With the $1,335 destination charge, the 2023 Toyota Sienna XSE costs $45,030. On a 60-month loan at 5% financing and $0 down, the monthly payment comes to about $850. See 2023 Toyota Sienna XSE models for sale near you

- 20-inch wheels – These large dark alloy wheels give the Sienna a sporty look, and the low-profile tires help improve cornering.
- Dynamic Navigation – Using satellites, Sienna’s built-in navigation can get you anywhere you need to go, with advanced features such as real-time map updates via the cloud, up-to-date route guidance, and points of interest.
- Available 1500-watt inverter – The Sienna XSE’s 1500-watt inverter provides two 120-volt three-prong outlets, one in the center console and one in the cargo bay.
2023 Toyota Sienna 25th Anniversary Edition: $47,420
To celebrate 25 years of building Sienna minivans, Toyota offers a limited number of 25th Anniversary Edition Sienna vans. However, with only 2,525 models slated for production, finding one might require more research.

With the $1,335 destination charge, the 2023 Toyota Sienna 25th Anniversary Edition costs $48,755. On a 60-month loan at 5% financing and $0 down, the monthly payment comes to approximately $920. See 2023 Toyota Sienna 25th Anniversary models for sale near you
2023 Toyota Sienna Woodland Edition: $46,495
The Woodland brings a little SUV to the Sienna, building off the XLE and adding more ground clearance, standard AWD, heated front seats, second-row captain’s chairs, Dynamic Navigation, and the 12-speaker JBL audio system.
The Woodland features SofTex sport-trimmed seats from the XSE, a 1500-watt inverter, and a tow hitch with 3,500-pound towing capability.

2023 Toyota Sienna Limited: $48,395
The Limited adds a healthy dose of luxury, although it is not the most luxurious trim.
Picking up where the XSE left off, the Limited adds power-folding and auto-dimming side mirrors with a reverse tilt-down feature, 18-inch bright alloy wheels, and chrome roof rails.
The Limited gets leather upholstery, a wireless charging pad, heated and ventilated front seats, second-row captain’s chairs with ottoman extensions, a leather-trimmed power tilt/telescoping steering wheel with memory, and a 7-inch multi-information display.
Also included with the Limited are second- and third-row manual sunshades and the 12-speaker JBL audio system.

Distinguishing the Platinum from the Limited are bi-LED projector headlights, a Panoramic View monitor, rain-sensing wipers, and 20-inch metallic wheels (18-inch with AWD).
Platinum passengers enjoy heated second-row captain’s chair seating, while the driver gets a heated steering wheel and a 10-inch color head-up display.

- Panoramic View monitor – Provides a 360-degree view around the Sienna, as well as views from above and curbside when traveling at low speeds or in reverse.
