The 2023 Toyota Venza combines all the best ingredients in Toyota’s wheelhouse into a straightforward formula. The Venza is a 5-passenger midsize crossover equipped with a 219-horsepower hybrid powertrain and standard all-wheel drive (AWD). Venza buyers can choose among four well-equipped trims with only a few options among them, a decision we think makes the buying process a lot less complicated.
While not the largest or most off-road capable midsize SUV, the Venza takes top honors regarding fuel economy, resale value, and style. If you’re looking for something a bit bigger and plusher than a RAV4 but don’t need a 3-row SUV like the Highlander, the Venza might be the perfect fit. 2023 Toyota Venza LE: $34,120
The Venza lineup starts with the LE trim. This entry-level model gets you in the door for under $35,000, offering a comfortable menu of features and perks in a one-size-fits-all package with no options.
The LE includes Toyota’s latest active safety system suite, called Safety Sense 2.5+. Included in the mix is forward collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection. This new system can also detect oncoming vehicles or pedestrians at intersections when making a turn.
