The 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia is a special car, blending seductive good looks with performance on par with the best European sport sedans, including the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Audi A4.
A diverse trim lineup includes the Sprint, Ti, Veloce, and Competizione. All four use the same 280-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that delivers gutsy performance and an intoxicating exhaust note. The high-performance Quadrifoglio takes things up a notch or two with a 505-hp Ferrari-derived twin-turbocharged V6. All Giulia models have standard rear-wheel drive (RWD), and all but the Quadrifoglio offer the option of all-wheel drive (AWD).

What’s New:
The Giulia receives a slight exterior refresh, bringing its grille, headlights, and taillights more in line with the Stelvio and Tonale SUVs. There’s a new 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and new Alfa Connect services.
Alfa has released two limited-production Giulia trims: The 100th Anniversary Quadrifoglio and Carbon. We don’t cover them in this review as they total less than 130 cars combined and will probably all be sold by the time this article runs. But it’s nice to know they’re out there if one pops up at auction.
Our Recommendation:
For most drivers, the mid-range Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti is the best buy for its balance of luxury and value.

2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint: $44,935
The base Sprint trim is a good value. We found its turbocharged engine boasting 280 hp and 306 lb-ft of torque more than adequate, with the best power and torque ratings for a base engine in this class. You’ll pay extra for that kind of performance in the competition.
RWD is standard; Q4 all-wheel drive is a $2,000 option.
Standard features in the Giulia Sprint trim include 17-inch wheels, Brembo brakes with 4-piston front calipers, a sport-tuned suspension, dual-exit exhaust, and adaptive LED matrix headlights.
Rain-sensing wipers automatically activate when sensing moisture on the windshield, while power-folding heated side mirrors automatically dim when sensing headlights approaching from behind.
Moving to the Sprint’s cabin, we find power-adjustable front seats with 4-way power lumbar support and driver’s seat memory. Heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, a wireless charging pad, and an Alfa DNA drive mode selector with Dynamic, Natural, and Advanced Efficiency drive modes are standard.
Black leather seats are included, with the option to upgrade to red leather.
Every Giulia has an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You also get SiriusXM, HD Radio, and a navigation system. An 8-speaker audio system brings it all to life.

2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti: $47,435
The mid-range Ti model adds excellent creature comforts to the Giulia while opening up some desirable option packages you can’t get on the base trim.
Additional standard features include 18-inch dark turbine wheels, a dual-pane sunroof, and dark gray oak wood interior trim.
We highly recommend the available Active Assist Plus Package ($700). It adds a long list of safety tech features, including a vehicle alarm, driver attention alert, intelligent speed assist, lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition, a traffic jam assist system, active blind-spot assist, and the Highway Assist System, making highway driving nearly effortless.
There’s also a Premium Interior and Sound Package ($2,225). This package upgrades the interior with a leather dashboard, upper control panels, and a Harman Kardon 14-speaker premium audio system.

Dual-pane sunroof — Alfa Romeo doesn’t sell convertibles in the U.S., so this large sunroof is the next best thing.
More options — You can get the Ti trim with the Active Assist Plus Package and the Premium Interior and Sound Package, which aren’t available on the base trim.

2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce: $51,035
The Veloce trim adds sportier aesthetics to the Giulia while adding some welcome performance upgrades. It has a limited-slip differential, the sport-tuned steering of the Quadrifoglio, and high-performance tires.
Aesthetic improvements include 19-inch wheels, a rear diffuser, red brake calipers, and gloss-black mirrors. The Veloce also has paint options usually reserved for the top Quadrifoglio model, such as Rosso Etna.
The interior gets a sporty makeover as well. It has 14-way sport front seats with extra bolstering, aluminum interior trim, and paddle shifters.
The Veloce trim has the same option packages as the Ti model, minus the Performance Driving Package.

The Competizione brings an exclusive Moonlight Gray matte paint option, dark 19-inch wheels, active suspension, sport seats with red stitching, carbon-fiber interior trim, and aluminum sport pedals.

2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio: $82,965
The Giulia Quadrifoglio sits at the top of the model range. Its Ferrari-derived turbocharged V6 pumps out 505 hp, which makes this Giulia competitive with the likes of the BMW M3 Competition and Audi RS 5 Sportback.
The Quadrifoglio is the only Guilia not available with all-wheel drive.
In addition to the engine, other performance upgrades include Quadrifolgio-tuned steering and suspension systems, a dual-mode exhaust system, a carbon-fiber driveshaft, a Race drive mode, and large Brembo brakes with 6-piston calipers in front, 4-piston in back.
The unique appearance package of the Quadrifoglio includes an active aero front splitter, carbon-fiber front and rear spoilers, a carbon-fiber hood with dual heat extractors, quad exhaust tips, and staggered 19-inch wheels with Pirelli PZero Corsa high-performance tires.
Inside, you get Quadrifoglio-specific sport front seats, carbon-fiber trim, a 200-hp speedometer, a unique steering wheel with Alcantara inserts, and a carbon-fiber bezel. Sparco racing seats with white and green stitching are optional but not heated. The 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio is also standard.
Despite the Giulia Quadrifoglio’s high starting price, the Active Assist Plus Package is still optional.
