The 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio is one eye-catching import. It’s a 5-passenger compact SUV that plays in the same league as the Porsche Macan, BMW X3, and Mercedes-Benz GLC but has a look distinctly its own.
Alfa offers the Stelvio in five trims. Four of them, the Sprint, Ti, Veloce, and Competizione, employ the same 280-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. The fifth, called the Quadrifoglio, gets a 505-hp twin-turbocharged V6 capable of propelling the little SUV to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.
All but the entry-level Sprint feature standard all-wheel drive. Although driven by its rear wheels, Sprint buyers can opt for AWD, too.

Across the entire lineup are new LED adaptive matrix headlights, slight styling revisions front and rear, and a new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with three configurable layouts: Evolved, Relax, and Heritage.
Limited-edition models include a 100th Anniversary Quadrifoglio (only 100 are being produced), the Quadrifoglio Carbon (only 130 units), and the new Competizione luxury-performance trim.

We’d recommend the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti. It’s plenty sporty and available with several safety upgrades in the Active Assist Plus Package.
If you’re all about performance (and budget is not a concern), the Quadrifoglio will quicken your pulse.

2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Sprint: $47,545
By no means a base model, the 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Sprint is generously equipped with leather upholstery and niceties like a power rear liftgate, rain-sensing wipers, and Brembo front brakes.
New for 2024 are auto-leveling LED adaptive matrix headlights. They join the Sprint’s standard 18-inch alloy wheels (with run-flat tires), LED rear fog lights, power-folding heated mirrors, and heated windshield-washer nozzles.
This compact 5-seat Italian SUV also has other welcome features like a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a heated tilt/telescoping steering wheel, a wireless smartphone charger, tinted rear privacy glass, and a drive mode selector with Dynamic, Natural, and Advanced Efficiency driving modes.
Ambient LED interior lighting lets you set the mood, while dual-zone automatic climate control lets everyone feel comfortable. Ten-way power front seats feature 4-way power lumbar support and driver’s seat memory. Heated front and rear seats are also included.
On the infotainment front, the Stelvio features an 8.8-inch touchscreen with 3D GPS navigation, AM/FM/HD Radio tuner, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, and an 8-speaker audio system.

Nearly $40,000 separates the Quadrifoglio from the base Stelvio. While that’s a hefty price gap, the performance upgrade feels similarly huge.
Plain and simple, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio is wicked quick, thanks to a roaring twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 that pumps out 505 hp and a stout 443 lb-ft of torque.
Need proof? It hits 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 176 mph. It tackles twisty roads like a road-hugging sports car, aided by a torque-vectoring rear differential that dramatically aids the Quadrifoglio’s agility.
In addition to uniquely tuned active sport suspension and 20-inch alloy wheels, the Quadrifoglio gets massive 6-piston Brembo front brakes, 4-piston Brembo rears, paddle shifters, heavily bolstered sport seats, carbon-fiber interior trim, and unique front and rear fascia.
