Think of the 2024 Cadillac CT4 as a slightly smaller version of the popular Cadillac CT5. The compact luxury sedan displays multiple personalities, from affordable luxury compact to bona fide Autobahn burner and everything in between.
The CT4’s rear-drive layout makes it a joy to drive, as does the available all-wheel drive (AWD), ideal for those needing better traction over snow-covered roads. Compared with cars like the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4, and Infiniti Q50, the CT4 looks pretty good. However, its interior and platform are beginning to feel a bit dated, especially compared to newer models like the Genesis G70.
Then again, few cars in this class come close to the power and performance of the CT4-V Blackwing, a 472-horsepower super sedan guaranteed to put a smile on your face whenever you get behind the wheel.
What’s New
The 2024 Cadillac CT4 carries over with no significant changes.
Our Recommendation
Our choice is the Cadillac CT4 Premium Luxury with the upgraded 2.7-liter powertrain. It represents an excellent blend of power and luxury at a good price.
But for those times when we’re greedy for horsepower (who, us?), the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing can’t be ignored. With its twin-turbo V6 and available 6-speed manual, the CT4 Blackwing satisfies those muscle car enthusiast who need the practicality of a compact sedan.

2024 Cadillac CT4 Luxury: $34,595 (RWD), $36,595 (AWD)
The entry-level Cadillac CT4 Luxury trim is priced similarly to what you’d pay for a nicely equipped Honda Accord or Toyota Camry. Yet, despite its low base price, the CT4 Luxury is no bare-bones sedan.
Powering the Luxury trim is a 237-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This setup strikes a nice balance between respectable performance and good fuel economy.
The first course on the CT4 Luxury menu begins with a generous sampling of standard driver-assist systems. The Driver Awareness Plus Package includes a following distance indicator, lane-keeping assist with lane-departure warning, a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high-beam headlights.
Additional features include forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, rear-seat reminder, Teen Driver, LED reflective windshield collision alert, an HD rear vision camera, a Safety Alert driver’s seat (vibrates to warn of danger), and rear parking sensors.
The Luxury rides on handsome 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in self-sealing all-season tires. It has LED headlights, power-adjustable heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals, and an acoustic laminated windshield.
Cadillac’s Keyless Access unlocks the doors upon approach without removing the key fob from your pocket or purse. The fob also allows for remote start.
Turning to the interior, we find imitation leather upholstery covering power-adjustable front seats, 12-way for the driver and 8-way for the passenger, with 2-way power lumbar support.
There’s dual-zone automatic climate control, rear console air vents, cruise control, push-button start, a leather-wrapped tilt/telescoping steering wheel with paddle shifters, and auto up/down power front windows.
The infotainment setup isn’t the best in class, with only an 8-inch touchscreen to operate the system. That said, the technology behind the screen is first-rate, providing wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, SiriusXM with 360L, and Alexa built-in.
But wait, there’s more. A Wi-Fi hot spot, voice recognition, personalized driver profiles for two drivers, and access to Cadillac connected apps (including OnStar) are also included, as are two USB ports, two 12-volt outlets, and a wireless charging pad.
An 8-speaker audio system comes standard but can be upgraded to a 14-speaker Bose Surround Sound system when ordering the Sun and Sound Package, which includes navigation and a power sunroof.
CT4 Luxury buyers can add heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, 18- or 19-inch alloy wheels, and several exterior styling packages.
With the $1,395 delivery fee, the 2024 Cadillac CT4 Luxury costs $35,990. On a 60-month loan with 5% financing and $0 down, the monthly payment comes to $679. See 2024 Cadillac CT4 Luxury models for sale near you
2024 Cadillac CT4 Luxury includes:
- Driver assists – The CT4’s impressive list of standard driver aids works like an extra set of eyes, alerting the driver to potential dangers and even acting to prevent accidents.
- Heated side mirrors – Heating elements behind the mirrors activate with the rear defroster, helping to keep ice and snow from building up while driving.
- Wireless charging pad – The CT4’s wireless charging pad lets you charge your phone without needing to plug it in.
2024 Cadillac CT4 Premium Luxury: $39,495 (RWD), $41,495 (AWD)
If we were picking a trim based on luxury, price, and performance, the CT4 Premium Luxury would be it. Choosing this trim opens the door to an available 310-hp 2.7-liter turbocharged engine, which also brings a 10-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive remains an option regardless of engine choice.
The Premium Luxury ups its game, adding automatic on/off headlights, an auto-dimming driver’s side exterior mirror, front and rear park assist, rain-sensing wipers, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Adaptive cruise control is standard, as is enhanced automatic emergency braking and reverse automatic braking.
Luxury amenities include leather upholstery, ambient interior lighting, driver’s seat memory, and a universal home remote garage door opener.
The Premium Luxury offers far more in the way of options, such as Cadillac’s Super Cruise semiautonomous driving assistant. Super Cruise allows hands-free driving on certain designated highways in U.S. and Canada.
Additional upgrade packages contain desirable features, such as a head-up display, heated and ventilated front seats, a 12-inch configurable digital instrument cluster, navigation, an HD Surround Vision camera and recorder, and a console-mounted rotary infotainment controller (included and only available with the 2.7-liter engine upgrade).
With the $1,395 delivery fee, the 2024 Cadillac XT4 Premium Luxury costs $40,890. On a 60-month loan with 5% financing and $0 down, the monthly payment comes to $772. See 2024 Cadillac CT4 Premium Luxury models for sale near you
2024 Cadillac CT4 Premium Luxury includes:
- Adaptive cruise control – This system maintains a safe distance to the car ahead, slowing and speeding up as required. The system can even bring the vehicle to a complete stop with no driver interaction.
- Rain-sensing wipers – These activate when rain, snow, or mist hits the windshield.
- Available Super Cruise – Cadillac’s semiautonomous driving program lets you cruise the highways without touching the gas, brakes, or steering wheel (but you do have to keep your eyes on the road).
2024 Cadillac CT4 Sport: $40,695 (RWD), $42,695 (AWD)
The Sport brings a racier look but no more power to the Cadillac CT4. The Luxury trim’s 2.0-liter turbo and 8-speed automatic are the only powertrain choices, although you can still opt for AWD.
The Sport features most of the Premium Luxury trim’s additional features but adds 18-way power-adjustable sport front seats with 4-way power lumbar support, power side bolster, and manual thigh cushion extensions. Alloy pedals, dark finish sill plates, and alloy paddle shifters complete the upgrades.
The Sport also gets a blacked-out grille, dark exterior trim, a rear spoiler, and unique 18-inch alloy wheels.
Unlike the larger CT5 Sport, the CT4 Sport doesn’t offer a suspension enhancement package, so it’s pretty much just a Luxury trim with a racier attitude, better seats, and a few more option packages (the same ones offered on the Premium Luxury). Sport buyers can upgrade to Brembo front disc brakes and massaging lumbar support seats.
With the $1,395 delivery fee, the 2024 Cadillac CT4 Sport costs $42,090. On a 60-month loan with 5% financing and $0 down, the monthly payment comes to $794. See 2024 Cadillac CT4 Sport models for sale near you
2024 Cadillac CT4-V: $47,095 (RWD), $49,095 (AWD)
The V-Series represents Cadillac’s performance aspirations. On the CT4, that means a 325-hp high-output turbocharged 2.7-liter 4-cylinder engine, a limited-slip rear differential, and Brembo front disc brakes.
The CT4-V also gets a performance-tuned suspension featuring Magnetic Ride Control adaptive dampers, launch control, and performance-oriented traction control settings.
Run-flat summer tires on unique 18-inch alloy wheels provide exceptional grip.
The CT4-V’s standard equipment roster builds off the Premium Luxury, adding a 14-speaker Bose sound system, a rotary infotainment controller, 18-way sport seats, a thick-grip steering wheel with V-Mode button, and V-Series-specific interior styling.
Options found only on the V-Series include LED cornering lights, performance brake linings, Torch Red seat belts, suede microfiber interior trim, 19-inch gloss black wheels, a performance data and video recorder, and brake calipers in red or blue.
With the $1,395 delivery fee, the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V costs $48,490. On a 60-month loan with 5% financing and $0 down, the monthly payment comes to $915. See 2024 Cadillac CT4-V models for sale near you
2024 Cadillac CT4-V includes:
- High-output engine – The CT4-V’s turbocharged 2.7-liter engine pumps out 325 hp, giving it a 0-60 mph time of 4.8 seconds.
- Sport seats – The CT4-V’s sport bucket seats include power side bolsters and manual thigh cushion extensions, enhancing comfort and lateral support.
- Brembo brakes – The CT4-V’s Brembo front brakes better resist fading while providing exceptional stopping power.
2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing: $61,495
The Blackwing is the most potent CT4 ever to hit the pavement.
Building off the CT4-V, the Blackwing adds a 472-hp twin-turbo V6, a 6-speed manual transmission, and performance brake linings.
The Blackwing also gets a 15-speaker AKG audio upgrade, navigation, heated front seats, LED cornering lights, and a heated steering wheel. In fact, just about all of the CT4’s optional equipment packages are standard on the Blackwing.
However, when equipped with the 6-speed manual, the Blackwing deletes adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, and the rotary infotainment controller.
Opting for the 10-speed automatic returns all the above-listed features to the standard equipment list, plus alloy paddle shifters.
Optional equipment for the CT4-V Blackwing includes upgraded sport seats (adds manual thigh cushion extensions), a head-up display, ventilated front seats with power lumbar massage, two different carbon fiber exterior trim packages, a high-performance V-Series steering wheel, and 19-inch bronze color wheels.
With the $1,395 delivery fee, the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing costs $62,890. On a 60-month loan with 5% financing and $0 down, the monthly payment comes to $1,187. See 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing models for sale near you
