The Chevrolet Blazer EV has arrived for the 2024 model year. Chevy’s first electric midsize SUV comes with modern tech, sleek design, and impressive range. In an increasingly competitive field of electric SUVs, the Blazer EV competes with the Ford Mustang Mach-E, Kia EV6, and Tesla Model Y.
The Blazer EV is a little pricey compared to many of its rivals, but Chevrolet has implied that lower and higher-priced models are still to come. For example, the Chevy Blazer EV had a starting price under $45,000 when it was first announced, and there’s also an upcoming Blazer EV SS in the works that promises a 0-60 mph time in less than four seconds and available Super Cruise hands-free driving.

2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV 2LT: $56,715
A dual-motor electric powertrain with all-wheel drive powers the base Blazer EV 2LT. GM hasn’t announced an official horsepower or torque rating for this powertrain, but it has an estimated range of 279 miles. The 85-kWh battery is capable of DC fast charging up to 150 kW.
Standard features in the Blazer EV 2LT include 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, an 11-inch digital gauge cluster, a Google-based infotainment system with a 17.7-inch touchscreen display, SiriusXM with 360L, a 5G Wi-Fi hot spot, remote start, front and rear USB-C ports, and a dual level charging cord.
The standard Chevy Safety Assist safety tech suite bundles many modern safety tech features. These include automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, a following distance indicator, and automatic high beams. Additional safety features include blind-spot monitoring, Buckle to Drive, a Teen Driver mode, rear parking sensors, and a Safety Alert Seat.
An available Comfort and Convenience Package ($1,225) does what its name implies. It adds heated, power-folding mirrors, satin aluminum roof rails, Evotex faux leather upholstery, heated, power-adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a wireless phone charger. You also get an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a hands-free power liftgate, and the Hitch Guidance/Hitch View features that make it easy to hook up a trailer without a helper.
You can build upon the Comfort and Convenience Package with the Convenience and Driver Confidence Package ($2,295). This adds more driver assistance tech like adaptive cruise control, rear pedestrian alert, side bicyclist alert, an HD surround vision camera, traffic sign recognition, enhanced automatic emergency braking, intersection automatic emergency braking, and reverse automatic braking.
