Since its inception more than 70 years ago, the Chevrolet Corvette has been America’s sports car. The ‘Vette displays a satisfying balance of style, performance, and luxury at a reasonable price point. Of course, if you want to spend six figures on a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette, you have several options.
The current C8 generation is a turning point for the Corvette. It’s the first production Corvette with a mid-engine configuration making it more competitive than ever with much pricier European exotics from the likes of Ferrari and Lamborghini. The Corvette competes with the Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxster and the Jaguar F-Type in this price range. With the demise of the Dodge Viper and Ford GT, the Corvette has no direct domestic competition.
There’s a lot of variety in the Corvette model range for the 2024 model year. Let’s look at the powertrain options and available trims so you can find the right sports car for you.
What’s New:
The all-wheel-drive (AWD) Corvette E-Ray hybrid joins the lineup for 2024. The E-Ray splits the difference between the base Stingray and the raucous Z06 in price and horsepower.
The popular Corvette Stingray gets several updates for 2024, primarily to the safety and infotainment tech. It has a new Google-based infotainment system with an 8-inch screen and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Safety features like automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, lane-keep assist, and a following distance indicator now come standard on every Corvette. New aesthetic options for details like paint, wheels, and stripes make the 2024 Corvette even more customizable.
Our Recommendation:
The Stingray 2LT is the best buy in the Corvette lineup. Pricing starts at under $75,000, and you get a mid-engine luxury sports car with features like heated and ventilated seats, Bose Performance Series audio, a performance data recorder, a head-up display, and much more.

2024 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 1LT: $66,300 (Coupe), $73,300 (Convertible)
The base Corvette Stingray 1LT offers a lot of bang for your buck. This premium sports car comes equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine mounted right behind the two seats. It produces 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. If you opt for the available performance exhaust system, those numbers go up to 495 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The coupe models have a removable roof panel, while the convertible has a power retractable hardtop. The deployment sequence for the convertible takes 16 seconds and can take place at speeds up to 30 mph.
Standard features with the 1LT trim include 19-inch front, 20-inch rear wheels, GT1 bucket seats, Mulan leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, and a Google-based infotainment system with an 8-inch screen. You also get wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a Bose Premium audio system, and various safety tech features like automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, a rear camera mirror, automatic high beams, and a following distance indicator.
One of our favorite option packages for the Stingray is the Z51 Performance Package ($6,345). This adds a performance suspension system, an electronic limited-slip differential, a performance ratio rear axle, Brembo brakes, a performance exhaust system, a rear spoiler, a heavy-duty cooling system, and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. This option package is easy to recommend if your budget allows it. It would be complemented well by the optional Competition Sport Bucket Seats ($995).
A Stingray R Appearance Package ($695) is a nod to the C8.R racecar with Stingray R exterior graphics and wheel center caps. There’s also a Tech Bronze Accent Package ($3,995) that does what its name implies with stylish bronze accents, including Tech Bronze wheels.
As for individual aesthetic customizability options, there are too many to list. There’s a dizzying number of options for paint, wheels, stripes, graphics, and even small details like wheel center caps and seatbelt colors. Numerous visible carbon-fiber trim pieces are also available.
With the $1,595 destination charge, the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 1LT costs $67,895. On a 60-month loan with 5% financing and $0 down, the monthly payment comes to $1,282. See 2024 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 1LT models for sale near you

The all-new Corvette E-Ray is the first-ever Corvette with a hybrid powertrain and all-wheel drive. A V8 engine is at the heart of this hybrid powertrain, with a total output of 655 hp. That’s just 15 hp shy of the mighty Z06. It also has an appearance package similar to the one on the Z06. Additional performance upgrades include Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, a performance suspension system with Magnetic Selective Ride Control, and a performance exhaust system.
The E-Ray is available as a 1LZ, 2LZ, and 3LZ. The 1LZ is similar to the Stingray 1LT in terms of features and tech. Standard features include GT1 bucket seats, an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a Bose 10-speaker audio system, and a head-up display.
A ZER Performance Package is available for an extra $500. It adds a unique ZER performance suspension system and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S high-performance tires. You can also get a C8.R-inspired graphics package ($895), Competition Sport bucket seats ($995), a transparent roof panel ($995), and many options for paint, graphics, wheels, and visible carbon-fiber trim.
Besides the powertrain differences, the 2LZ ($108,400 for coupe, $115,400 for convertible) trim largely mirrors the Stingray 2LT. Standard features include power-folding mirrors, a memory driver’s seat, heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless charging, a universal garage door opener, Bose Performance Series 14-speaker audio, and a performance data recorder.
Like the 2LT trim, the 2LZ opens up new options like GT2 bucket seats ($1,695) and front lift with memory ($2,595).

2024 Chevrolet Corvette Z06: $108,100 (Coupe), $115,100 (Convertible)
The Chevy Corvette Z06 is the one to get if you want maximum horsepower. It employs a 5.5-liter V8 that’s smaller but more powerful than the base engine in the Stingray. It uses a flat-plane crankshaft design and a DOHC valvetrain helping it achieve an output of 670 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque.
In addition to high-performance suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control, the Z06 gets a multi-mode center-exit exhaust and an aggressive appearance package like the one on the E-Ray.
Like the E-Ray, the Z06 is available in 1LZ ($108,100 for coupe, $115,100 for convertible), 2LZ ($117,000 for coupe, $124,000 for convertible), and 3LZ ($121,650 for coupe, $128,650 for convertible) trims. They’re very similar to their corresponding trims in the E-Ray lineup, but the Z06 has some unique options.
The Z07 Performance Package ($8,995) adds a Z07 performance suspension system, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes with dark gray calipers, and Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup 2R ultra high-performance tires.
The Carbon Aero Package includes painted ($8,495) or visible carbon-fiber ($10,495) exterior upgrades. These include dive planes, special ground effects, and a high-wing spoiler, giving Z06 an even more aggressive aesthetic.
Another interesting Z06 option is the Corvette Engine Build Experience ($5,000). It allows customers to hand-build their engines (under supervision) at the GM Performance Build Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
With the $1,595 destination charge, the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 starts at $109,695. On a 60-month loan with 5% financing and $0 down, the monthly payment comes to $2,071. See 2024 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 models for sale near you
