The Honda Passport’s closest rival is the Jeep Grand Cherokee, but it also competes with the Chevy Blazer, Ford Edge, and Nissan Murano.
What’s New:
For 2024, the Passport Elite trim has been replaced with the Black Edition. They’re very similar other than a dark appearance package and red ambient interior lighting with the Black Edition.

2024 Honda Passport EX-L: $41,900
Don’t let its status as a base trim fool you. The Honda Passport EX-L is a well-equipped SUV. Like every Passport, it’s powered by a trusty 3.5-liter V6 engine making 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Standard features include Intelligent Traction Management with Snow, Sand, and Mud modes, 20-inch alloy wheels, a power liftgate, LED headlights, a power moonroof, leather seats (heated in front), a memory driver’s seat, tri-zone automatic climate control, a wireless charging pad, an 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
The standard Honda Sensing safety tech suite bundles features like automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and parking sensors.
Factory options for the Passport are limited to paint and wheels. Three premium paint options (Platinum White, Radiant Red, and Sonic Gray) are available for an extra $455. You can also get 18-inch HPD wheels with all-terrain tires for $1,800 or 20-inch HPD wheels for $1,996.

The TrailSport model is the most rugged trim of the Honda Passport. We love the rugged look, but it’s more than an appearance package. The Passport TrailSport comes with 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, an off-road suspension, LED fog lights, roof rails, orange interior stitching, and a navigation system.
The TrailSport has the same premium paint options as the EX-L for $455, with the addition of an exclusive color, Diffused Sky Blue. HPD 18-inch wheels are still optional for $1,800.

2024 Honda Passport TrailSport includes:

2024 Honda Passport Black Edition: $47,970
The Black Edition replaces the outgoing Elite trim at the top of the 2024 Honda Passport model range. It’s the fanciest version of the Passport and comes with a stylish appearance package sporting 20-inch gloss-black wheels, a black interior with red stitching, and red ambient interior lighting.
In addition to the style upgrade, the Honda Passport Edition comes with a hands-free power liftgate, a heated steering wheel, heated rear outboard seats, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 10-speaker premium audio system.
The Passport has the same three premium paint options as the EX-L trim. Crystal Black is the only paint option with no extra charge. The Black Edition also has the same HPD wheel options as the EX-L trim.
