The Jeep Compass is one of the smallest and most affordable SUVs in the Jeep lineup. It integrates the Jeep aesthetic and personality into a practical subcompact SUV that’s slightly larger than the boxy Jeep Renegade. Standard all-wheel drive (AWD) helps the Compass live up to the Jeep name, and the rugged Trailhawk trim is one of the best off-roaders in this class.
The Compass competes with subcompact SUVs such as the Subaru Crosstrek, Ford Bronco Sport, and Kia Seltos.
What’s New:
The Jeep Compass gets a few minor changes for the 2024 model year. It has new wheel designs, an updated grille insert, and new all-terrain tires for the Trailhawk trim.
Our Recommendation:
We like the Jeep Compass in Latitude Lux trim. It offers lots of standard features (like heated seats and remote start) for less than $35,000.
