2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo: $39,535
The base Laredo trim is the only Grand Cherokee with a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) under $40,000. That makes it a good option for drivers looking for a new midsize SUV with modern amenities that won’t break the bank.
Power comes from a 3.6-liter V6 engine rated at 293 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and the Quadra-Trac I all-wheel-drive (AWD) system is optional for an extra $2,000.
Standard features on the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo include 17-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlights, cloth seating, and dual-zone automatic climate control. You also get front and rear USB ports, push-button start, a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster, a Uconnect 5 infotainment system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and SiriusXM.
Standard safety tech features include automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear parking sensors.

On top of all that, you get automatic high beams, a memory driver’s seat, heated rear seats, ambient LED interior lighting, satin chrome interior trim, a universal garage door opener, and an upgraded infotainment system with a 10.1-inch screen, navigation, SiriusXM, HD Radio, and a premium 6-speaker audio system.
If you want AWD, it’s still a $2,000 option. The available Luxury Tech Group II package ($2,775) brings upgraded seats, ventilated front seats, an auto-dimming mirror, an integrated off-road camera, a memory steering column, wireless charging, and rear sunshades. Like the Overland trim, the Quadra-Trac II AWD system comes standard, as does an electronic limited-slip rear differential.
Inside, you’ll find illuminated sill plates, massaging front seats, a memory front passenger seat, wood interior trim, premium Berber floor mats, Nappa leather door trim, a reversible cargo mat (carpeted on one side, vinyl on the other side), 4-zone automatic climate control, a map-in-cluster display, and an integrated off-road camera.
The Summit also adds many more standard driver assistance features. In addition to the Active Driving Assist system, it has a driver attention warning, an intersection collision-avoidance system, a semi-autonomous parking assist, a surround-view camera, and a side distance warning.
If you want an even fancier Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Summit Reserve package ($4,480) adds 21-inch wheels, a McIntosh 19-speaker audio system, an active noise control system, a deluxe headliner, a front passenger interactive display, Palermo leather seats and door trim, and ventilated rear seats.
