The Lexus TX is an all-new luxury SUV. It’s a midsize 3-row SUV slotted above the perennially popular Lexus RX. The new TX may be just the ticket if you like the RX but need extra space and roomy 3-row seating.
A big part of its appeal is the optional hybrid powertrain, which improves this SUV’s performance and efficiency. The Lexus TX goes up against family-friendly luxury SUVs like the Acura MDX, Infiniti QX60, Lincoln Aviator, and even its corporate cousin, the Toyota Grand Highlander. The 2024 Lexus TX is a couple of inches longer than its Toyota cousin and is also built in Indiana, not Texas.

The base Lexus TX is nicely equipped for the money. Every TX with 350 in its name is powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine rated at 275 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the front or all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive (AWD) is a $1,600 option on every non-hybrid TX. The TX 350 has an EPA combined fuel economy rating of 23 mpg with front-wheel drive (FWD) or AWD.
Standard features in the TX 350 include 20-inch wheels, bi-LED headlights, LED fog lights, a hands-free power liftgate, power-folding mirrors, and aluminum roof rails. Inside, you get 3-row seating for up to seven people, NuLuxe faux leather upholstery, heated front seats, a power steering column, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and shift knob, a wireless charging pad, multi-zone automatic climate control, and rear sunshades.
