The 2024 Lucid Air electric luxury sedan combines stunning good looks with off-the-charts acceleration, putting this modern EV in a league of its own. The Air offers luxury levels on par with the Audi e-tron GT and delivers more power and range than the Porsche Taycan and Tesla Model S.

What’s New:
At the entry level, the Pure trim is now offered only with rear-wheel drive (RWD) and touts a new lower price starting at just under $72,000 (including the destination charge). Both the Pure and Touring receive expanded optional equipment lists.
At the other end of the model range, the Sapphire trim gets an upgrade. It includes three electric motors capable of generating a class-leading 1,234 horsepower, resulting in a 0-60 mph time of just 1.89 seconds.
Our Recommendation:
If you don’t need all-wheel drive, the Pure is the best choice, with a few options tossed in. The Touring comes similarly equipped but with the added traction of AWD, more power, and identical range.

2024 Lucid Air Pure: $71,400
The Pure trim is one of two Lucid Air trims carrying a 5-digit price tag. It offers a nice balance of performance, range, and technology, which most luxury EV buyers will agree with. The standard powertrain features a single electric motor powering the rear wheels. If you want AWD, move up one notch to the Touring trim. The Air Pure makes up to 430 hp, can bolt from a standstill to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds, and has an estimated maximum range of 410 miles.
Standard equipment in the Lucid Air Pure includes adaptive dampers, 19-inch wheels, PurLuxe faux leather upholstery, a 34-inch 5K display, and a retractable Pilot Panel infotainment screen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa Built-in. This high-tech infotainment system also will receive over-the-air software updates.
Standard amenities include a 9-speaker Surreal Sound system, 12-way power heated front seats, voice-activated navigation, a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and a Lucid mobile app that pairs your phone with your car.
You’ll also get adaptive auto-leveling LED headlights, auto-diming power-folding heated side mirrors, and keyless entry with proximity key fob.
Every Lucid Air comes with the DreamDrive suite of safety and driver assistance features. It bundles automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, full-speed adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, a 360-degree camera, and autonomous parking assist.
Buyers looking for additional driver assistance can upgrade to the DreamDrive Premium package, which brings a 3D Surround View monitor and blind-spot display.
