Like the standard 2024 Nissan Titan, the Titan XD is in its last year of production.
The Titan XD, you may recall, uses a stronger chassis than the standard Titan, giving this full-size Nissan pickup truck added capabilities (chiefly towing) while maintaining easy everyday driving manners.
Available exclusively as a 4×4 Crew Cab model with a 6.5-foot bed, the 2024 Nissan Titan XD has a wheelbase about a foot longer than the standard Titan’s. It also gains three inches of height and 14.8 inches of overall length.
With the stronger and larger chassis come enhanced capabilities. The maximum tow capacities are 10,900 pounds with a traditional hitch or 11,050 pounds with a gooseneck arrangement. The maximum payload is 2,260 pounds, a bit lower than last year’s capacity, because the base Titan XD, the S, has been discontinued.
The sole engine in the 2024 Nissan Titan XD is a 5.6-liter gasoline V-8 that makes 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque on premium gas (or a bit less with regular unleaded).
While Nissan’s Titan XD isn’t as contemporary inside as newer versions of gas-powered pickups like the Ford Super Duty and the Heavy Duty versions of the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, and Ram, this big Mississippi-built truck does have an excellent Safety Shield 360 safety suite offering automatic emergency braking (with pedestrian detection), blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights, and rear automatic braking.
Nissan offers the Titan XD in three trim levels for 2024: SV, Pro-4X, and Platinum Reserve.
What’s New:
The Nissan Titan XD has been trimmed to three models for 2024: SV, Pro-4X, and Platinum Reserve. All are 4×4 Crew Cab models with a traditional dual-range transfer case, a 6.5-foot bed, and varying levels of equipment and luxury.
Our Recommendation:
The Titan XD Pro-4X. Yes, it’s about $6,000 more than an SV, but it’s a much nicer truck equipped with LED headlights, alloy wheels, a locking tailgate, bucket front seats, a 9-inch touchscreen, navigation, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Bilstein shocks, electronically locking rear differential, and added skid plates are much appreciated off-road.

2024 Nissan Titan XD SV: $51,930
The Titan XD SV, a former midrange model, is a comfortable everyday pickup that isn’t afraid to work, thanks to its stout chassis and big V8. Its chrome front bumper, painted rear bumper, and mesh grille with painted trim also look sharp.
Standard features on the 2024 Nissan Titan XD SV include power mirrors that are extendable for towing, trailer sway control, and a trailer brake controller. The roomy 6-seat cabin — replete with a standard front bench or optional buckets that drop the seat count to five — has carpeted flooring and an illuminated glovebox, plus a thorough analog gauge package and an 8-inch touchscreen for the 6-speaker audio system with a pair of USB audio ports.
A few option packages of note:
The HD Front GAWR Package ($150) adds high-capacity front springs, increasing the front axle’s Gross Axle Weight Rating of the Titan XD from 4,325 pounds to 4,900 pounds. Who might need this? Anybody considering adding a snow plow to the nose of their XD.
You get an abundance of features with the SV Convenience Package ($2,790). Chief among them: heated front seats, an 8-way power driver’s seat, a remote key fob, 20-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power-sliding rear window, dual-zone automatic climate control, front and rear parking sensors, cloth captain’s chairs, and two rear USB ports for the rear seat.
On top of that, this popular package includes illuminated vanity mirrors, Traffic Sign Recognition, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and a gooseneck hitch, which raises the maximum tow capacity of this Titan XD to 11,050 pounds. Folks in back also benefit from rear HVAC vents, plus a 12-volt outlet in the back of the center console.
The SV Utility Package ($1,600) should appeal to folks who use their Titan XD as a true hauler of stuff. In addition to a Utili-track system that helps you secure cargo with two tie-down cleats, this package includes a utility bed step, tailgate area illumination, a 120-volt bed outlet, and even a storage box in the floor of the bed. Nissan also throws in a universal garage door opener, rain-sensing wipers, and a power-locking tailgate for good measure.
Including the $1,895 destination fee, the 2024 Nissan Titan XD SV costs $53,825. With a 60-month loan with 5% interest and $0 down, the monthly payment will be $1,016. See 2024 Nissan Titan XD SV models for sale near you
2024 Nissan Titan XD SV includes:
Power tow mirrors: These extendable side mirrors are a godsend if you regularly use your Titan XD to tow a big trailer.
Adaptive cruise control: This handy feature automatically maintains a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you, slowing or accelerating as needed on the highway.
Trailer brake controller: This feature electrically manages the brake pressure in your braked trailer, improving safety while also lessening driver stress.
2024 Nissan Titan XD Pro-4X: $57,890
If you think the Pro-4X is just an appearance package, think again: It’s the most off-road-ready truck in the 2024 Nissan Titan XD lineup.
The mechanicals begin with Bilstein off-road shocks, an electronic locking rear differential, and 18-inch alloy wheels wearing all-terrain tires. On top of that, you get an aluminum front skid plate (under the radiator) and a steel transfer case skid plate, along with standard hill-descent control, which manages the Pro-4X’s brakes to add a welcome degree of safety to steep dirt downhills.
Besides some tasteful interior trim and exterior branding, the Titan XD Pro-4X gets most of the contents of both the SV Convenience Package and SV Utility Package. Notable among the other standard features on the 2024 Pro-4X are automatic headlights and traffic sign recognition, a Fender 12-speaker audio system, and a 9-inch touchscreen with navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay.
Two option packages are available on the 2024 Nissan Titan XD Pro-4X.
The Convenience Package ($3,390) adds embroidered leather upholstery, a remote start, a 4-way power driver’s seat, and a gooseneck trailer hitch with a plug. You also get heat for the steering wheel and seats, both front and rear.
Upping the luxury quotient of the Titan XD Pro-4X is the Premium Package ($2,740). In addition to vented front seats and a super helpful 360-degree camera, it includes a dual-panel panoramic moonroof and a handy in-bed storage compartment.
Including the $1,895 destination fee, the 2024 Nissan Titan XD Pro 4-X costs $59,785. With a 60-month loan with 5% interest and $0 down, your monthly payment will be $1,128. See 2024 Nissan Titan XD Pro-4X models for sale near you

2024 Nissan Titan XD Platinum Reserve: $65,840
It’s easy to spend $80,000 or more on a luxury pickup nowadays. With the Titan XD Platinum Reserve, you can get a luxurious and well-equipped truck for a lot less than that.
With its dark 20-inch alloy wheels, satin chrome exterior trim, illuminated chrome running boards, and chrome mirrors, the XD Platinum Reserve certainly looks the part.
That premium flavor carries over inside the Titan XD Platinum Reserve, where supple leather upholstery is complemented by wood and chrome trim and a leather-wrapped center console lid. The front seats are heated and cooled; the rear seats are heated.
Moreover, the Platinum Reserve gets a heated steering wheel and Nissan’s handy Around View Monitor 360-degree camera as standard equipment.
Because the 2024 Nissan Titan XD is so well-equipped, there aren’t many options. If you order the Platinum Utility Package ($1,390), it comes with an electronic locking tailgate, an in-bed storage compartment, and a rear utility step, that’s all. We’re surprised these features aren’t already standard on the XD.
You also can order a panoramic moonroof ($1,490) and a no-cost monotone paint package that helps tone down the Platinum XD’s exterior chrome with body-color bumpers.
Including the $1,895 destination fee, the 2024 Nissan Titan XD Platinum Reserve costs $67,735. With a 60-month loan with 5% interest and $0 down, your monthly payment will be $1,278. See 2024 Nissan Titan XD Platinum Reserve models for sale near you
