2024 Porsche Macan: $60,900
The base Porsche Macan is a little pricier than most compact luxury SUVs, but in typical Porsche fashion, its performance is a cut above its rivals in their respective base trims. Power comes from a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine making 261 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, giving it a 0-60 mph time of 6.0 seconds. Every Macan — including the base model — has a 7-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. This base powertrain returns 19 mpg city/25 mpg highway/21 mpg combined, and premium gas is required.
Standard features include 19-inch wheels, the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) with LED headlights, heated front seats, a driver memory package, 3-zone automatic climate control, a universal garage door opener, and wireless charging.
Standard safety features in the Macan include front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, and lane-departure warning.
Since this is a Porsche, there are a ton of options you can add to make it your own. The one option package available is the Premium Package Plus ($3,660), which adds a panoramic sunroof, 14-way power seats, Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus, lane-change assist, heated front and rear seats, and ventilated front seats.
Other options include premium paint options ranging from $700 up to $13,150 for the Paint to Sample option, wheel options ranging from $600 to $4,850, various leather upholstery options, Adaptive Sport Seats Plus ($1,510), the Sport Chrono Package ($1,220), a Burmester premium audio system ($5,700) and so much more.

Standard features in the Macan T include 20-inch wheels, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Agate Grey exterior trim, sport seats with the Porsche crest on the headrests, a heated GT Sport steering wheel, and black brushed aluminum sill guards with the “Macan T” logo.
One of our favorite upgrades is the standard Sport Chrono Package, which comes with an analog and digital stopwatch, Sport Plus and Individual drive modes, a Sport Response button, and launch control. The Sport Chrono Package shaves the 0-60 mph time down to 5.8 seconds.
Additional options you can add to the Macan T are essentially the same as those for the base model.

Other than 20-inch wheels and a few other aesthetic touches like textured Lava Black side blades, the standard and optional features of the Macan S are very similar to the base model. Moving up the trims in a Porsche is about upgrading the powertrain more than the interior.
