Do you like everything about the Toyota Camry but wish it had extra ride height and a more versatile interior? Then the Toyota Venza might be precisely what you need. The two share the same platform, meaning the Venza rides and drives much like that sedan. In actuality, though, the 5-seat Venza is 5.5 inches shorter than the Camry but sports a wide hatchback opening and a hybrid powertrain with standard all-wheel drive (AWD).
Buyers can choose among four 2024 Toyota Venza trims: LE, XLE, Nightshade, and Limited. Toyota offers very few upgrades, a strategy that helps to simplify the buying process. The hybrid powertrain features a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and three electric motors, one mounted in the back and drives the rear wheels when needed. Total output is a respectable 219 horsepower, and the EPA fuel economy is an impressive 40 mpg city/37 mpg highway/39 mpg combined.
The 2024 Toyota Venza competes with a small pool of rivals, including the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid, the luxurious Lexus RX Hybrid, and, yes, even the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, a similarly roomy but slightly shorter sibling that offers a bit more rear cargo room (37.5 cubic feet versus Venza’s 28.8).

What’s New:
The 2024 Toyota Venza carries over with no significant changes.
Our Recommendation:
The Venza Limited has so many cool features we’d have to go for it. Sure, your monthly payment jumps by about $150 over the base LE, but we think it’s a fair trade-off considering all you get in return.
Our runner-up is the XLE, which brings more features without breaking the bank.

2024 Toyota Venza LE: $34,920
The entry-level Toyota Venza LE comes in just a hair under $35,000. For this price, you get a nicely equipped SUV with no options. However, the LE wouldn’t be our first choice, given that the XLE only adds about $4,000 to the bottom line yet brings so much more in the way of luxury upgrades.
The LE comes with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ suite of driver aids. The technology includes forward collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, which can detect oncoming vehicles or pedestrians at intersections when making a turn.
Additional TSS 2.5+ features include full-speed adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning with lane centering, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic sign recognition, and a rear seat reminder.
The Venza LE has a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors with emergency braking, and a rearview monitor.
The LE rolls on handsome 18-inch alloy wheels and has heated outside mirrors (with puddle lights and driver’s auto-folding controls), a Smart Key proximity key fob with touch sensor door handles, and a hands-free height-adjustable power liftgate. You can add to that variable intermittent front wipers, a rear wiper/washer, LED headlights, dark-tinted rear privacy glass, and a compact temporary spare tire.
Interior creature comforts aren’t forgotten: The Venza LE has an 8-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar support, a wireless charging pad, and a 7-inch multi-information display. Also standard are dual-zone automatic climate control and a leather-wrapped power tilt/telescoping steering wheel.
Fabric covers the seats, with soft-touch materials on the dash, door panels, and center console. Amenities include a push-button start, an electric parking brake with Brake Hold, multiple places to store cups, four USB charge ports, slide sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors, a 60/40-split folding rear seat with a center armrest, and ambient interior lighting.
On the in-car entertainment front, the LE features an 8-inch color touchscreen granting access to an AM/FM/HD Radio 6-speaker audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, Bluetooth music streaming, and a 3-month trial subscription to SiriusXM’s Platinum plan.
Toyota Connected Services has various trial periods and provides several services, including a voice assistant, stolen vehicle locator, remote start, over-the-air updates, cloud-based navigation, and a Wi-Fi hot spot.

does your limited come with stargaze roof? my nightshade did not come with the stargaze roof. made me so sad;(
We mostly love our 2024 Venza Limited but we are EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED that there is no memory mirror function connected to the memory seats. If we had known this it may have been a deal breaker.
