LotusLotus Cars

“Simplify and add lightness.” That was the mantra of Lotus’ founder Colin Chapman and it’s still the philosophy that drives the brand today. Lotus specializes in lightweight performance cars like the Evora which isn’t the fastest car in the world but has a tremendous power-to-weight ratio and a light curb weight that makes it a pleasure to drive both on the road and the track. It also doesn’t hurt that the Lotus Evora has stunning good looks that will turn more heads than your average, mainstream sports car. Based on sports and racing cars like the Lotus 49, Lotus Seven, Lotus Eleven, Lotus Europa and several others, Lotus has earned such a strong reputation for how its cars handle that other carmakers sometimes collaborate with Lotus to improve how their own cars drive. Some of these include Aston, Ford, Jaguar, Isuzu, Nissan, Opel, Tesla and Toyota.

There are often rumors about Lotus expanding its lineup into more segments and we hope that one day those rumors come to fruition.
