NissanNissan Cars and Trucks

Nissan is a popular Japanese automaker that has been competing stateside with big brands like Honda and Toyota since their first American factory opened in 1983. Several decades later, the Nissan Rogue is frequently the best-selling small SUV in America and the Nissan Altima sedan is almost always in the top three best-selling sedans. Nissan also has a long history of exciting sports cars, practical economy cars, rugged trucks, capable SUVs – and, more recently, electric cars.

The Nissan Leaf was the first mass-market electric car and is still one of the most affordable and practical EVs available. If you’re looking for something a little more exciting, the Maxima, 370Z and GT-R are a thrilling sports car trio. Nissan is also a family-friendly brand with offerings like the Armada, Murano and Pathfinder. The previously mentioned Altima midsize sedan has all-wheel drive and an innovative VC-Turbo engine available; notably the first mass-market variable compression engine.

Nissan became the first Japanese brand to build trucks in America with its Tennessee manufacturing operation currently producing a wide range of vehicles including sedans, SUVs, and hatchbacks. Today, Nissan has the full-size Titan in a variety of cab configurations with both gasoline and diesel versions, and the Frontier is a high-value midsize pickup option.
