Scion was an interesting experiment by its parent company Toyota. It was a youth-oriented brand launched in 2003 but shut down in 2016. The idea was to make trendy, affordable, practical cars that had content that young drivers wanted and were easy to shop for. Scion models included features like modern connectivity features and good sound systems and the best part was they didn’t have trims to choose from. Everything came standard simplifying the shopping process and the pricing model. Scion models ranged from the boxy xB to the sporty FR-S to the practical iM and more. When Scion was shut down, most of its lineup was absorbed by Toyota in the form of cars like the 86 and the Yaris meaning Scion technically lives on, but with Toyota branding.
At Scion, only the best of the best are chosen to be Scion Certified Used Vehicles. When we choose a vehicle for Scion certification, we have to do a little investigative work. Not only do we put each vehicle through an exhaustive 160-Point Quality Assurance Inspection, but we also run a CARFAX Vehicle History Report to ensure it is worthy of the Scion Certification process. Then, each vehicle is reconditioned to Scion's exacting standards by factory-trained Scion Technicians. We want the vehicles to look and feel as new as possible and we know you do, too. We believe this helps maintain the value, as well as creates pride in ownership of Scion Certified Used Vehicles.
