For just a couple years, the SRT division of Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles was its very own performance brand. Standing for Street & Racing Technology, SRT went beyond just being a trim for high-performance Dodge and Jeep models and gave it a shot as its own marque. It was only around for the 2013 and 2014 model years and its only model was the SRT Viper which is a stunning sports car that can go toe to toe with more expensive European exotics. There was some confusion considering SRT was its own brand, but Dodge and Jeep were still marketing SRT models that weren’t part of the SRT brand. SRT was consolidated back into Dodge and the SRT Viper became the Dodge Viper again with the SRT brand making little impact on the performance car world as its own standalone brand.
